Fallible
Wanting in moral strength, courage, or will. Capable of making mistakes or being erroneous.
Famine
Scarcity of food; dearth; a general want of provisions sufficient for the inhabitants of a country or besieged place. Famine was seen as both punishment and opportunity. Suffering opened the door for repentance and change.
Favor
Finding favor means gaining approval, acceptance, or special benefits or blessings. There are numerous stories from the Bible that give us insight into what is favored by God and what is condemned (Genesis 4:4) (Exodus 32:11) (Deuteronomy 33:23) (Ruth 2:13)
Fodder
Feed for domestic animals. A mixed feed, either of several grains (though barley was the common grain for livestock, or a mix of finely cut straw, barley, and beans formed into balls.
Forbearance
A delay in enforcing rights or claims or privileges. Patient self-control; restraint and tolerance.
